Spring Fun and the start of the 3rd trimester

We've been enjoying the beautiful spring weather and trying to get outside as much as possible. Last Sunday Dan and Kristi treated us to ice cream cones from Knoke's as a good excuse to enjoy the beautiful day. G had his first ice cream cone that was ALL his! There's something about watching my baby eat his own ice cream cone that made him seem like such a Big Boy!

He ate and ate until it was almost all gone and he couldn't bite the cone anymore

Liam preferred his ice cream from a dish

Kristi and I enjoying some snuggle time with Mateo, he's snuggled in the blanket

We also had our first visit to the Hudson Hospital Emergency Room...

The brakes got the best of Cary's fingers and 2 stitches later he was on his way! (I'm pretty sure all the money we would have saved from Cary changing the brakes at home was spent on our doc bill)

Here's where you'll find us these days...

G loves to ride his "hog"

or hit the links in the back yard

Winter boots, scooter and no pants...now that's creative!

Baseball and Hockey...Gavin loves to play at Spencer's house, he has all kinds of sporting goods

Cute boys by the tulips!

G was ready for opening day, and has been enjoying watching the Twins with Mom and Dad

Just like Mommy, G LOVES pickles!
Gavin also loves to help around the house....

and always manages to do it in style!

Lid on his head, cucumber in his mouth...he's getting the broccoli ready for dinner

He's always willing to lick the brownie spoon too

Our nephew Will was Charlie in Willy Wonka and we went out on a limb and took G with us to watch....he did GREAT! The only words he say through the whole show were, " Will Go?" when Will would leave the stage!

Gavin, Will the star, and Great Grandma Mary

First Show

Mom was jealous that G and Daddy got to snuggle through the whole show, but in all honesty G doesn't fit on my lap very well anymore!

Such a Big Boy...
The third trimester...where do I start? The 3rd trimester has brought many aches and pains in my back, hips and pelvis, I know I should be thankful because it could be so much worse...but I am feeling guilty that I can't be as active with Gavin right now as I would like to be. A walk around the neighborhood leaves me on the couch for most of the evening. I have tried massages and have been seeing the chiropractor and things do seem to be getting a little bit better so hopefully I'm on the mend! I told Cary the other day that I didn't think I could do this for 10 more weeks, with little sympathy he told me that I didn't have a choice! Thanks Dear. At least the end is in site...only 9 more weeks to go until we get to meet our little peanut! We do have some idea when the doctor will schedule the c-section...but aren't sharing that yet. We really haven't started getting things ready for the baby...guess we should get going on that!
