Busy Beaver?

(I'm a Beaver!)

Well, Gavin of course is active as ever. He is exploring in places like the dishwasher, cupboards, and even under the table. It's like the "Lost World" or something.

(Stuck in the child proof drawer)

(Just my close up!)

Gavin woke up the other day and I put him on the changing table to get ready for the day. He was cheery and happy, but decided to share his thoughts at the moment. He repeated 3 times, "No, No, No!" Can you guess what words we've been using in our house lately?

(I love exploring under the table, looking for leftovers!)

(No luck on the floor, lets see what's in the fridge?)

We have been out playing with the warmer weather, and Gavin has been checking out the playground equipment. He has mastered climbing up and sliding down all by himself. So, now that he is "so" independent, daddy has a free had for his 16 oz. Coors Light! Mommy just shakes her head.

(Dad and G on the playground slide)

(Hotsauce Anyone?)

(Stuck again. I got in here, how do I get out?)

Despite the independence, he tends to go "bonk!" more often. He sat on daddy's lap for 20 minutes with his binky, while dad held the ice pack on the mini-goose egg he got. Also, Neosporen may be on the Target list, since he took a head slide into the sidewalk, leaving some road rash on the forehead. Oh, well.....knock on wood that it isn't any worse than that.

(Another haircut is in order)

Gavin Gets Baptized and Hunts for Easter Eggs

Warning: This is a long post!

The past few weekends have been very busy at the Krusemark's so I'm hoping to get caught up...unfortunately I didn't get as many pictures as I'd hoped! We spent most of Easter at home hanging out with home with the 3 of us and then went to my mom's for a wonderful Easter dinner.

The best model shot we could get of his Easter outfit

G on the hunt for Easter Eggs...he loved it!

Grandma B made Pirate PJs for her favorite boys...

Saturday night we had "the crew" over for our first bbq of the summer...here are a few pictures of the kid's playing!

14 years from now I don't think it will be so cute for Gavin and Luciana to be alone in a tent!

Poor Finley can't get away yet!

G sneaking treats from his Easter Eggs...who'd have thought Smarties would taste so good?

Things sure have changed since last summer when we would put Gavin on a blanket and he would happily play, now we are chasing him all over the playground! I have a feeling we will be frequent users of the parks in our neighborhood this summer.

No fears for this little G

Gavin is getting really playful, he loves to tickle and tackle us! I swear he is getting busier by the minute!

Gavin was so tired at lunch on Friday...but Culver's french fries tasted so good. He fell asleep while eating!

Friday we had Gavin's 15 month check up and shots. Gavin loved running around the office in his diaper while we waited for Dr. Plotnik! She thought he looked great, and is a little peanut at 22 pounds and 31 inches.
He loved showing off for the doctor, until she poked him in the legs...that piece never seems to get any easier.

We are happy to say we've finally crossed Getting Gavin baptized off our to-do list. Cary and I started "church shopping" when we moved to Hudson, and finally joined a church back in March. On April 4th, we had a weekend full of festivities to celebrate Gavin's baptism. Almost everyone from the family was able to attend, including Cary's family from Pipestone. It was really fun having both our families together for the first time since our wedding.
