Mr. Independant!

Hanging in the "Noogle"
This is G's new favorite place to hang out! It really is my pregnancy pillow...but seems to be a perfect fit for G, he loves to lay in the snoogle and snuggle naked after his bath, or when he gets up in the morning. Of course he has to bring his blankie (his other new obsession) and Georgie with too!
3 times while laying in the snoogle after his bath G has told me he has to go potty, and then will actually go when I put him on the potty!!! Progress??? Well he will go on the potty (without bribes) when we ask him, but neither of us are ready to go at it full force yet so we will stick with diapers for now!
After nap time is really the only time I can get Gavin to sit still long enough to cuddle anymore, and I'll take every.minute.I.can get! On the days we are home together we will sometimes snuggle on the couch for 45 minutes or more! Nothing is more important than cuddle time with my boy!

Hugs for Daddy

Our big boy is getting a little mind of his own, and he will be sure to let us know what he wants! His favorite words right now are "I do it!". He also wants to pick what color plate he eats off, what he wants to eat, and is starting to tell us even what he wants to wear (ugh, I really thought boys were 4 or 5 before they even had an interest in clothes!). He also lets us know what he doesn't want to do...such as putting his coat or shoes away, then he says "Mommy do it"...um, no Mommy will not be cleaning up after you more that I have to!
G saw a donut on the counter Sat am, sure enough once he saw it he was going to eat it!

Donut...2nd half!

Making Jello!

At 1:30 on Wednesday night I heard G in his room and went to check on him...I walked in to find his sheets covered in red and him standing in his crib! I thought for an instant there was blood all over, but nope just barf! I had just told Heather how we hadn't had a middle of the night barfing episode yet...guess I jinxed myself, the daycare flu had struck! Luckily it was only 1 time, and after an hour, a quick hair wash and some laundry we were all back asleep! Of course as soon as I laid back down the baby started dancing...guess it is just a sign of what's to come!
G was tired the next day and fell asleep for 4 hours, Mommy got a nap too. It is so sad when my little man doesn't feel good!

The greatest toy ever arrived this week...G has spent HOURS playing in this box! I can't believe it hasn't fallen apart yet.
We had our last overnight trip pre-baby #2 to Eau Claire to watch some friends run the 1/2 marathon...
G had a blast playing in the grass!

Farmer G? He LOVED driving the tractor!

Finley was nice enough to share his tractor!
Baby Update...well there's not really too much to update! As my doctor told me this week "You are an uncomplicated patient"...and I'm totally happy with that :) I'm continuing to feel pretty good, although I am getting pretty tired again...and this rainy weather isn't helping.
I am starting to get comments such as "Are you SURE they have your due date right, you look bigger than someone I know who is due at the end of this month!" and "there's no way you are going to be working in June, you are either going to go early or be on bed rest". Thanks...I'm measuring right at 32 weeks (which is right where I am) and figure if my doctor isn't worried, I'm not going to either! I get big when I'm pregnant, I'll blame it on genetics!
I'm starting to "think" about getting things ready...I think Memorial Day weekend will be the big push! Although I keep telling myself all this baby really needs is diapers, onesies and a boob. The c-section is officially on the calendar...seems crazy, we are right around 50 days left until we meet our peanut!
