This week we have been busy packing as we are one week out from closing on our house. Part of the garage is stacked with boxes and bags. Jill is a packing machine.
(Gavin telling Daddy secrets)We also got to meet Gavin's new doctor in Hudson. He weighed in at 19 lbs. 1 oz. and 28.5 in. The length is a guess, since getting him to lay on the mat without moving is like asking him to eat his biter biscuit without making a mess.
(We are not sure what G is trying to accomplish here)Gavin really liked Dr. Plotnik, right up until she stuck him in those chubby thighs with his next round of shots. Yeah, he was not to fond of that and he was not fond of her anymore.

We also met with Gavin's new daycare providers. Gavin will have some new little friends who have already found him very amusing. One of the moms watching Gavin has two little girls. They think he is the cat's meow!! Thanks to Heidi for helping us make the connection with her neighborhood friends.

Gavin is getting stronger and more daring. He has been standing at his Leap Frog table, playing with all the fun gadgets. On Tuesday, he was standing there and decided to make the move to the exersaucer ONE STEP away. Mommy was watching and worrying when she saw this, but before we knew it he took a wobbly step and latched onto the exersaucer for support.
(??????)Although this was a small step, we are wondering will he ever crawl, or is this the sign that he will bypass all fours and just start walking???? Oh, no!!

We have to watch out for this little maniac. He is getting so quick, that he will grab anything in close proximity. He is so quick that Monday night he shot in at mom's lips like he was going to kiss her....or so mom thought, until he chomped down on her lip, biting her.

This past weekend we also got to meet Thomas Gary McVay. He is just a peanut. Gavin gave him a quick glance or two, but was much more interested in Thomas' toys instead. It was fun to meet Thomas and I got to see Monica and Brent's house for the first time.
