We all survived Gavin’s first week at home…and we haven’t even broken him yet! We are trying to figure out the whole feeding and sleeping thing, but overall we are falling more and more in love with our little man every day! We think Gavin is going to be a little trickster already as he loves to either sprinkle daddy or dirty a clean diaper as soon as you get it on…and then I swear he gives us a little smile!
We did make a couple of trips to the doctor this week to check Gavin’s weight as he lost too much weight in the hospital and we had to feed him with a medicine dropper after I fed him! We are happy to say he has now gained enough weight that the dropper feedings are a thing of the past. Gavin has also a little bit jaundice as well, but we have beaten that too! I think we are going to have a strong little guy!
Cary goes back to work on Wednesday and I’m really going to miss having him around as he is the diaper changing king and gets the best burps too!!!

Gavin looks like a little baby bird! I can't wait to see him again soon.
Hi Jill!
Your little guy is so sweet! I hope you're doing ok, these first few weeks are hard but wonderful! Thinking about you!

Gavin is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! We were so happy to hear that he arrived safe and sound, and that the three of you are adjusting well. Treasure every second you have with him, as they grow up sooooo fast. (I'm sure everyone tells you that, but it is true, and you don't realize it until it is too late!) Yes, treasure even the 3 AM feedings and diaper changes!
We can't wait for more pics!!!!
Love,
Tom, Christina and Jack
