Farmer Gavin

We spent Memorial Day weekend down in Pipestone hanging out with Cary's family! Gavin is lucky that his Grandpa has a real John Deere tractor and he let Gavin test it out!

Is that Farmer G and Daddy?

I'm ready to hit the fields Grandpa!

Watch out or I'll get your shoes next

Kylie took G for a ride in the princess car

Fun with Uncle Stacy
The drive to Pipestone is long...but the $$ we spent on the DVD player for the car might just be the best $$ we've spent so far. G thought it was great to watch Baby Einstein even if he did have to be strapped in his car seat!

We try to spend as much time outside with our little man as we can these days! Here is G and daddy trying out his new sprinkler ball.

Oh no...that's cold!
Gavin has a pretty good sense of humor already, which is good cause we like to tease him just a little bit!

Where did your ball go?

1st Big Boy Haircut, with the help of a few fruit snacks he did pretty well!

G is a shoe guy already...he got some new sandals and thought he was pretty big stuff!

Laps in my new shoes

We didn't have daycare, so G got to spend a couple days with Grandma B. What would we do without Grandma B???

We went out for ice cream after church...image that we have an ice cream fan!

Our little artist

G and Daddy sharing some pancakes
Cary's school had a carnival so Gavin and I went to check him out in the dunk tank! The kids had a great time dunking Principal Krusemark!

No Gavin - you aren't going to be a bear...you are going to be a Raider!

Play hard...sleep hard!

Our Big Helper

Gavin is getting to be such a big helper...he LOVES the dust buster and has figured out how to turn it on all by himself (the problem is he turns it on and then runs away).

He is also more than happy to share his hammer...and can be found banging on everything like the walls and furniture!

Gavin also loves to help his dad with projects..."Dad I think you are supposed to read the instructions first!"

I'll see if I can fit this on here!
When Gavin's not helping out around the house...he can be found playing and getting into mischief!
They'll never find me in here

Please don't throw me away!

PEEK!

The past couple of weeks have been a little rough for Gavin...one of his molars broke through, and he also had an ear infection! Rough weeks also mean our little man isn't sleeping very well and have let to some sleepy days for mom and dad. We hope he is on the mend now!
We are happy it is finally getting nice out and can be found walking around the neighborhood whenever possible, and playing in the neighborhood parks!
King of the playground

What a silly boy!

We have also been enjoying spending time with the McNamara's...Liam sure is getting big, but isn't ready to keep up with the G-man quite yet!

Busy Beaver?

(I'm a Beaver!)

Well, Gavin of course is active as ever. He is exploring in places like the dishwasher, cupboards, and even under the table. It's like the "Lost World" or something.

(Stuck in the child proof drawer)

(Just my close up!)

Gavin woke up the other day and I put him on the changing table to get ready for the day. He was cheery and happy, but decided to share his thoughts at the moment. He repeated 3 times, "No, No, No!" Can you guess what words we've been using in our house lately?

(I love exploring under the table, looking for leftovers!)

(No luck on the floor, lets see what's in the fridge?)

We have been out playing with the warmer weather, and Gavin has been checking out the playground equipment. He has mastered climbing up and sliding down all by himself. So, now that he is "so" independent, daddy has a free had for his 16 oz. Coors Light! Mommy just shakes her head.

(Dad and G on the playground slide)

(Hotsauce Anyone?)

(Stuck again. I got in here, how do I get out?)

Despite the independence, he tends to go "bonk!" more often. He sat on daddy's lap for 20 minutes with his binky, while dad held the ice pack on the mini-goose egg he got. Also, Neosporen may be on the Target list, since he took a head slide into the sidewalk, leaving some road rash on the forehead. Oh, well.....knock on wood that it isn't any worse than that.

(Another haircut is in order)

Gavin Gets Baptized and Hunts for Easter Eggs

Warning: This is a long post!

The past few weekends have been very busy at the Krusemark's so I'm hoping to get caught up...unfortunately I didn't get as many pictures as I'd hoped! We spent most of Easter at home hanging out with home with the 3 of us and then went to my mom's for a wonderful Easter dinner.

The best model shot we could get of his Easter outfit

G on the hunt for Easter Eggs...he loved it!

Grandma B made Pirate PJs for her favorite boys...

Saturday night we had "the crew" over for our first bbq of the summer...here are a few pictures of the kid's playing!

G and Spencer in the toy box

14 years from now I don't think it will be so cute for Gavin and Luciana to be alone in a tent!

Poor Finley can't get away yet!

G sneaking treats from his Easter Eggs...who'd have thought Smarties would taste so good?

Things sure have changed since last summer when we would put Gavin on a blanket and he would happily play, now we are chasing him all over the playground! I have a feeling we will be frequent users of the parks in our neighborhood this summer.

No fears for this little G

Gavin is getting really playful, he loves to tickle and tackle us! I swear he is getting busier by the minute!

Gavin was so tired at lunch on Friday...but Culver's french fries tasted so good. He fell asleep while eating!

Friday we had Gavin's 15 month check up and shots. Gavin loved running around the office in his diaper while we waited for Dr. Plotnik! She thought he looked great, and is a little peanut at 22 pounds and 31 inches.
He loved showing off for the doctor, until she poked him in the legs...that piece never seems to get any easier.

We are happy to say we've finally crossed Getting Gavin baptized off our to-do list. Cary and I started "church shopping" when we moved to Hudson, and finally joined a church back in March. On April 4th, we had a weekend full of festivities to celebrate Gavin's baptism. Almost everyone from the family was able to attend, including Cary's family from Pipestone. It was really fun having both our families together for the first time since our wedding.
