Week 18 - We've Moved

Wow, what a whirlwind week!!! Since I posted last week we have found a new place to live, packed up all of our stuff (realized how much stuff we have), moved and cleaned out our old place!!! Gosh, it is no wonder that I'm exhausted and feel like I'm about to head to the funny farm any day now! Thanks to the help of our great family and friends the move went very well and we will get unpacked someday!!! Our plan is to rent the new townhouse for a year, and then see where Cary's job takes him next summer and go from there. (Although the thought of moving again at this point is TERRIBLE!!!) It is just a huge relief to have sold our house in this housing market! (knock on wood) We will now have a room for the baby, and an extra bedroom so we can still have visitors! Once we dig all of our stuff out of the nursery we can start planning to bring our new little person home, I can't belive I'm almost half way there! The good news is Cary will have some relaxation this week as he is heading to Sturgis, and I am heading to Arizona on Saturday and planning to spend time with Ingrid in her pool relaxing! Week 17 - We Sold our House!!!

It has been a whirlwind week for us! We accepted an offer on our house last Thursday and are in the process of trying to find somewhere to live! We are closing on August 20th, so we have 3 weeks to get ready and move.

Baby K attended its 1st Annual weekend at Scottie's cabin! It will probably be the last trip for Baby K, as this is for adults only! It was a gorgeous weekend, full of laughs, and great to spend time with good friends . Just what was needed to relax from the stress of selling our house! As you can see Scott and I were trying to compare whose baby is growing faster! He might be winning, but I've got him beat in the tan category!!! After all of the yummy treats I ate this weekend I'm guessing my belly growth this week has more to do with too many yummy treats than the actual growth of the baby!

16 Weeks - "Babymoon to NYC"

Cary and I spent a few days in New York City last week and quickly realized it would probably be our last "mini vacation" for awhile, and for sure the last plane trip getaway together before the baby comes! Technically I was working, but we did manage to have some fun while we were there as well! After riding the subway for 45 minutes in the wrong direction, and missing the Yankee's game we realized that we aren't very good at subway navigation!!!

I had a doctor's appointment today, and heard the heartbeat again! It was 150 beats a minute (I did remember to ask this time) which according to the old wive's tale means it will be a boy! My next appointment will be an ultrasound, but we are not planning on finding out if it is a boy or a girl!

I'm continuing to feel well, and quickly realizing my pants aren't going to fit too much longer!!!

15 Weeks - Happy 2nd Birthday Matthew!

I can't believe how fast the time is going and that I am already 15 weeks along!!! As you can see from the pictures I am starting to pop out a little more and working on tanning my belly! I am continuing to feel great, and am thankful everyday for that because I have been very busy at work and don't have time for feeling sick! I also can't believe my little nephew Matthew is turning 2 this week so I had to include a picture from our get together. He is such a sweetie, and is always making us laugh!

We met Luciana

We got to meet Luciana this past weekend, she is the baby girl of some of our very good friends and a real sweetie! At just 7 pounds she is a little peanut. We left their house and both looked at each other and thought ...wow in less than 6 months we are going to have one of those tiny people at our house! I think it was a reality check for both of us, but also makes it that much more exciting. I am continuing to feel good...but finding clothes that fit is starting to get more challenging!!!

Baby's got Boots!!

Yes, I'm sure you are all surprised that Jill couldn't resist any longer to buy something for the baby......his/her first pair of booties!

Traveling Baby - 13 weeks post

We had another good week, I can't believe I'm 1/3 of the way through my pregnancy already! I was in Richmond, Virgina for work and on my way home I realized that Baby Krusemark is already quite the traveler!!! Since we found out I was pregnant I have been to...Los Angeles (twice), New York City, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago. I'm so lucky that I have been feeling so good or those travels could have been miserable. Still to come before I can't fly anymore...Phoenix, New Orleans and Washington DC!!! Too bad none of it has been for vacation!!! I hope you enjoy the hairy belly too...I"m sure you can't guess whose that is???
